Margaret Murray is a proud Maraura – Barkindji from her mother's side and her father’s connection is to Wiradjuri country, Wemba Wemba, Latti Latti, Narri Narri. She was born and raised at Dareton/ Coomealla, and now lives and works in Albury Wodonga.
Margaret has been weaving for more than 10 years and is passionate about sharing her knowledge with the community and encouraging people to express themselves through art.
By the end of this workshop, you will have your own beautiful, unique handwoven item to take home.
This workshop is part of Albury Wodonga NAIDOC Week celebrations.
The weaving circle is targeted towards those who identify as women and girls, aged 15 years and above. Bookings required.
