Hyphen - Wodonga Library Gallery invites you to a media literacy workshop produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Australian Library and Information Association and Western Sydney University, to equip communities to better identify false information.
The workshop, facilitated by ABC Goulburn Murray’s Gaye Pattison, is inspired by the ABC 3-part documentary series The Matter of Facts, which follows award-winning journalist Hamish Macdonald for a thrilling ride into the hostile frontlines of our global information.
We are all navigating a digital ecosystem where truth and lies can be indistinguishable, and where information is created - at scale - to change what we believe, how we behave and who we vote for.
