Want to try drawing but you’re not sure you have the skills? Perhaps you don’t know where to start?
Join international, Melbourne-based artist, Marco Luccio at Sketching for Sanity, a relaxed workshop designed to introduce non-drawers to sketching as a practice for health and happiness.
In this laidback 90-minute session, Luccio will walk participants through a series of fun and experimental exercises designed to kindle creativity, transform what ‘making art’ can look like and break down mental barriers preventing people from starting or maintaining a creative habit.
The goal is simple: don’t worry about drawing “well”, just focus on putting the pencil to paper!
By leaving pressure at the door, participants can focus solely on drawing for fun and happiness, coming away with a newfound appreciation and enjoyment of sketching for wellbeing, plus foundational skills to continue learning.
Recommended for participants aged 15 and over.
